We invite you to support scholarly publishing at Truman State University Press. The University has provided excellent support for publishing projects on its campus for the past forty years, but the economic climate today requires that the Press fund more of our operation.
As a nonprofit publisher of scholarly books, we encourage research and writing for the scholarly community, thoughtful writing on topics for a broader public, and the creative work of poets. Our books are peer reviewed and approved by our editorial board before publishing.
We depend on sales revenue, licensing fees, grants, and careful monitoring of expenses to meet our costs. Additional assistance through tax-deductible gifts helps us maintain our publishing excellence and promote education, culture, and intellectual inquiry in the books we publish.
We invite you to become a member of Friends of Truman State University Press with a contribution of any amount. With a tax-deductible gift of $100 or more you may choose a complimentary book from our complete catalog and receive a 25 percent discount on additional book purchases throughout the year.
To make a contribution, please send your gift by mail to the address below. You will receive a receipt for your tax records.
