Journals

Chariton Review is a literary journal established in 1975 that publishes the best in short fiction, poetry, translations, and essays. Although the journal was supported by the University many years, TSUP is now handling the production, distribution, and marketing. The Press also established Chariton Review Short Fiction Prize to encourage creative work and support literature.

The Sixteenth Century Journal is a leading journal in early modern studies and at one time also published the Sixteenth Century Essays & Studies series. TSUP now publishes the series, which has been renamed Early Modern Studies. The SCJ managing editor is Dr. Kathryn Brammall, history professor at Truman.
